PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loudspeaker system making loudspeaking in a way of hands-free with high quality. SOLUTION: A plurality of microphones 1 whose directivity is limited and a plurality of speakers 5 whose directivity is limited are arranged on the ceiling of a conference room in a distributed manner. A sound source position detection section 2 compares input signal levels from a plurality of the microphones 1 and detects a microphone located in the vicinity of a talker as a position of a sound source. An input switching section 3 selects an input signal from the microphone at the position of the sound source and gives the selected input signal to a speaker output adjustment section 4. A delay time and a level corresponding to each of a plurality of the speakers 6 are set to the input signal from the selected microphone and the input signal is outputted from each speaker 5. Thus, a sum of a direct voice from the talker and a loudspeaking sound from each speaker 5 is controlled to be constant, and the utterance of the talker can be heard with uniform voice quality at any position in the room.
