<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain comment postscript and high speed display for HTML document teaching material contents without using any exclusive Web browser in an education support system using WWW. <P>SOLUTION: When an initial request is made from the Web browser of a client, a server generates index data by adding index information to all the characters of a teaching material contents HTML document. The index data are registered in a database as cache data. When the second and following request is made from the client, the server transmits the cache data registered in the database to the Web browser in order to display the cache data as teaching material contents to the client. When a write object character string is designated by every character unit on the cache data by the client, the server displays a picture for writing comments relevant to the write object character string to the client. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
