PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component comprising a flexible wiring board. SOLUTION: The coil component comprises one linear slit 1 formed in the center of a flexible wiring board 10, first and second circuit planes 11 and 12 formed bordering on the slit 1, and a spiral wiring pattern 2 formed around the slit 1. A tubular substrate 20 for opening the slit 1 is formed, by bending the first and second circuit planes 11 and 12 along the slit 1, thus forming the spiral wiring pattern 2.
