PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange capable of preventing a bolt from being deformed even when a rotary body 4 is broken due to corrosion and impact energy is generated in a flange part and preventing the flange part from dropping. SOLUTION: A recessed part 12K coming into contact with a through hole 12H for a bolt 13 provided in the flange 12 continuously is provided in the vicinity of both sides in the circumferential direction of a pitch circle passing through the center of the through hole 12H. The recessed part 12K is continuously brought into contact with the through hole 12H in a recessed part space formed by spot facing machining from an end face side of the flange 12 in an overlapped manner and does not have depth of the whole thickness region of the flange 12 to leave a thin-walled part 12N in a lower part. Diameter of the through hole 12H has an elliptical shape formed by moving in the circumferential direction as it is. The recessed part 12K is formed by coming into contact with the through hole 12H continuously. The remaining thin-walled part 12N is crushed by the recessed part 12K when receiving impact energy.
