PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device with improved shock resistance, and an electronic apparatus provided with the same. SOLUTION: Permanent magnets (12a, 13a, 14a, 15a) are each fixed on each of surfaces of a holder (11) of a camera module (2), and a permanent magnet (16a) is fixed on the bottom surface of a substrate (8) being the bottom surface of the camera module (2). Also, permanent magnets (12b, 13b, 14b, 15b) are fixed on the internal peripheral surface of a recess portion of a case (3), and a permanent magnet (16b) is also fixed on the internal bottom surface of the recess portion. The camera module (2) is housed in the case (3) so that the permanent magnets fixed on the camera module (2) may oppose the permanent magnets fixed on the case (3). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
