PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a system for wireless communication using MIMO technologies, which determine and display a communication state in MIMO communications so that users can adjust directions and installation locations of wireless terminals by themselves. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication apparatus that performs MIMO communication between a broadcasting station and a receiving station, the receiving station has a state index operation means for calculating a state index that indicates a current communication state using all or some parts of transmission functions h<SB>j, i</SB>, and a communication state display means for displaying contents that change corresponding to state index values. In addition, the receiving station may have an external interface means for transmitting state indexes to external terminals connected through a cable or wireless networks.
