PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic apparatus capable of turning off a video display in accordance with user's use state without turning on/off an internal power source in a main body. SOLUTION: A mobile TV 1 is provided with a sensor 25 for detecting a state of a user, and a control unit 26 for determining the state of the user on the basis of the detection result of the sensor 25 and controlling a video/audio output. The control unit 26 controls so that the power supply to a display unit 2 is stopped when the user can not view a video image and is restarted the power supply when the user can view the video image.
