PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of helping user watch TV, etc. , and enhancing the comfort. SOLUTION: A tension wire 39 is provided along with the surface of the side of the backrest 2. The tension wire 39 is inserted into the through-hole 30 of the falling pin 25. One end of the tension wire 39 is connected to the fulcrum point 37 of the link mechanism 5 and the other end of the tension wire 39 is connected to the connecting part 40 of the head rest 6. As the backrest 2 is reclined to a predetermined angle, the fulcrum point 37 of the link mechanism 5 is transferred forward relatively to the supporting point 40 of the head rest 6. The tension wire 39 adjusts the reclined angle of the headrest 6 pulling the headrest 6, so as to get close to the seat 1. When the backrest 2 is reclined to more than the predetermined angle, the tilting pin 25 is pulled and tilted by the tension wire 39, and the backrest 2 is flatten when the tension of the head rest 6 is released by the tension wire 39.
