PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pier construction of a structure capable of simplifying a construction of a joint section between a pile head section and a pier column base section, carrying out construction work at a low cost in a state to save labor while absorbing slippage of the core of a pile and successively carrying out immediately the positioning of a pier and a superstructure work erection process without awaiting time after a pile body has been made. SOLUTION: The construction of the joint section connecting the head section of the pile 2 to the column base section of the steel-made pier 3 comprises a group of a plurality of anchor bolts 6 burying the lower end sides in the pile head section, the first stage holding member 7 placed in a state to adjust a height position in the Z direction to screw sections of the group of anchor bolts, the second stage holding member 9 mounted on the upper surface of the first stage holding member 7 in a state to adjust a position in X-Y plane and a plurality of fitting metal fasteners 10, etc. interconnecting the first stage holding member 7 to the second stage holding member 9, and it is so constituted that a steel-made pier base section 3A is connected to the upper surface of the second stage holding member 9 with a bolt and that an encased concrete 5 is placed around the steel-made pier 3 including the joint section.
