PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container consisting of a honeycomb-like panel material with a peripheral wall part formed of a double sheet, which is capable of easily realizing a requested display on a surface of the container at low cost, easily changing the display, difficult to generate stain on the peripheral surface, good in heat insulation, and good in operability of the entire container. SOLUTION: A peripheral wall part 1 is constituted of a synthetic resin-made double sheet 6 in which a flat sheet 62 is affixed to an inner surface side of an irregularity-forming sheet 61 having independent recesses 5, etc. on an outer surface side at tops of independent projection groups 50, etc., forming an inverted shape of the independent recesses 5, etc. Synthetic resin-made cover panels 4A and 4B having fitting projecting parts 7, etc., at a plurality of parts on the inner surface side are attached to at least a part of the outer surface side of the peripheral wall part 1 with each fitting projecting part 7 being fitted to the independent recess 5a on the peripheral wall part 1 side.
