PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage prevention tool of an automobile capable of preventing an outer surface of the automobile from being damaged by a door of an other automobile. SOLUTION: This damage prevention tool 1 of the automobile is formed of a protective wire 2 furnished with cushioning performance and a magnet 3 mounted on the protective wire 2 and constitutes its characteristic feature that the protective wire 2 avoids direct contact of the outer surface of the automobile 4 and the opened door of the other automobile positioned in the neighborhood of the automobile 4 with each other by mounting the protective wire 2 on the outer surface (peripheral surface 9) of the automobile 4 by attracting the magnet 3 on a metal part of the automobile 4.
