The invention relates to an assembly for gripping, holding, lifting, and/or moving all types of objects. Said assembly comprises at least one receptacle (1) with a deformable surface (2) that can be adapted to the object. The interior of the receptacle (1) contains materials (3) which solidify under the influence of temperature, negative pressure, vacuum, excess pressure. The inventive assembly further comprises at least one apparatus for influencing the temperature and/or the pressure. Also disclosed is a method for gripping, holding, lifting, and/or moving all types of objects, according to which such a receptacle (1) is brought in contact with the object and is then subjected to a change in temperature and/or pressure until a positive connection has been obtained. |
