A screwless conductor terminal has a pin- or sleeve-type contact part (1) with a conductor insertion orifice (4) and a clamping orifice (7) extending transversely to this and a spring-loaded movable terminal element (8). The length of the clamping element (8) exceeds the depth of the clamping orifice (7) and that section of the clamping element (8) extending out of the clamping aperture (7) as an engagement surface for the spring element (9).
