<p>The invention relates to a powder composition for the filtration of liquid foods, which is characterised in that it comprises at least 65 wt.- % of a phyllosilicate mineral with a BET specific surface area of no more than 40 m<SUP>2</SUP>/g (NF W11-621 standard) and at most 35 wt.- % of at least one filtering material. The inventive composition is especially suitable for the filtration of liquid foods, particularly in precoat filters.</p> |
