<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate a plurality of ink tubes so that these tubes do not move, in a disorderly manner, in the width direction of a flexible flat cable following the movement of a carriage. <P>SOLUTION: This printer has an ink tube tying harness 50 which comprises a bearing part 50a long enough to surround the flat cable 40, a tube retention part 50b for retaining a plurality of the ink tubes 41 aligned crosswise between the tube retention part 50b and the outer surface of the bearing part 50a in the state that the bearing part 50a is made to revolve around the flat cable 40 in the width direction, and a hook part 50c attached to the apex of the tube retention part 50b. In addition, the bearing part 50a has the hook part 50c, a through hole 50d for the tube retention part 50b to pass through and a securing hole 50e for the hook part 50c. Further, a sponge layer 44 with a notched part 44a which is opened wider than the width of the bearing part 50a of the ink tube tying harness 50 and a stainless steel plate 45 as an auxiliary material are joined together using a double-side adhesive tape 46, and interposed between the flat cable 40 and the ink tubes 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
