<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye chart device which can quickly present a targeted visual target. <P>SOLUTION: This eye chart device 1 is equipped with a flat panel display 7 which emits illuminating light, a film member 63 on which visual targets for eye examination are formed, roller sections 5A and 5B which are arranged above a visual target displaying window 3 (visual target presenting position), and roller sections 5C and 5D which are arranged under the visual target displaying window 3, and a driving mechanism section 50 which turns the roller sections 5C and 5D. The eye-examination chart device 1 is also equipped with annular guiding belts 61A and 61B which guide a film member 63 in such a manner that the film member 63 may move along an annular locus which passes respective roller sections 5A to 5D and the visual target presenting position in response to the turning of the roller sections 5C and 5D by the driving mechanism section 50.
