<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption, to suppress rise of temperature, and to improve impact resistance. <P>SOLUTION: An operation control means by which a video signal output from a camera signal processing circuit 5 is compression-processed by an encoder/decoder 9 for each prescribed section and accumulated in a buffer memory 13, a HDD 15 is turned to a recording operation state by a period required for recording the compressed data for each prescribed section accumulated in the buffer memory 13, the compressed data for each prescribed section accumulated in the buffer memory 13 are recorded in the HDD 15, and recording operation is turned to a stop state in the other period, is provided, thereby a recording operation period in which power consumption of the HDD 15 is large is shortened, power consumption and temperature rise are reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
