<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a leakage magnetic flux due to an instantaneous large current flowing through a coil in a choke coil for use in a digital amplifier. <P>SOLUTION: In the choke coil, a magnetic core 1 having a substantially rectangular contour includes a recess 1a for accommodating a coil 2, a central project 1b for forming a magnetic core at the center of the coil 2, and an external circumferential part 1c.
