LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of obtaining high contrast in a wide visual angle range in addition to symmetry of a field angle.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises an electrode substrate providing a plurality of pixel electrodes; an opposite substrate arranged oppositely to the electrode substrate and aligned in a substantially parallel direction to alignment processing of the electrode substrate; and a chiral nematic liquid crystal sandwiched between the electrode substrate and the opposite substrate and divided into at least two bend alignment regions in each pixel by an electric field between a pixel electrode and the opposite electrode. The electrode substrate and the opposite substrate further comprises a circular polarizing plate 11 on a reverse side face to a face sandwiching the chiral nematic liquid crystal.
