<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control display device capable of more easily and accurately diagnosing a control system including itself. <P>SOLUTION: A programmable display 12 includes an operation screen generating part 51, a ladder monitor screen generating part 52, and a display process part 54. The operation screen generating part 51 displays the status of a device 2a according to screen data and generates an image of an operation screen that accepts operations on the device 2a. The ladder monitor screen generating part 52 displays as a ladder monitor screen a screen that shows a control program executed when the device 2a is controlled. Using a blend ratio set by a blend ratio setting process part 53, the display process part 54 synchronizes screens generated by the screen generating parts 51, 52 and displays the result on a display 23.
