<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing winding device, in which a wire can be easily processed. <P>SOLUTION: In this webbing winding device 10, the wire 44 composing a force limiter mechanism comprises a rod member comprising piano wire or the like that is bent at two positions of a first bent part 46 and a second bent part 48 in a crank form. A connection part 50 stored in a circular guide groove 24 formed in a spool 20 is also formed straight. Therefore, troublesome work of bending it at a plurality of positions complicatedly as in wires for conventional webbing winding devices is not necessary, but by simply bending the rod member at two positions, the wire 44 can be manufactured.
