<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device of excellent operability which prevents intrusion of dust etc. into a gap between a window frame part of an upper case and an upper substrate, and is free from occurrence of erroneous input even if the window frame part is operated by mistake. <P>SOLUTION: The coordinate input device 1 permits input of coordinates in the X-Y direction by operation of an operation face 7a of the upper substrate 7. A housing 2 has an opening 3a for exposing the operation face 7a for making it operable, and the window frame part 3b covering the upper part of the periphery side of the upper substrate 7 is formed thereon. A gap G of predetermined dimension is formed between the window frame part 3b and the upper substrate 7, and a foreign matter intrusion prevention part 9 for preventing intrusion of foreign matter into the gap G is formed for the gap G near the opening 3a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
