<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a gel-like food in which sauce flowed to a side circumferential part of the gel-like food is retained, the sauce adheres to the entire food, and the taste remains unchanged wholly. <P>SOLUTION: In the container for the gel-like food, the gel-like food is taken out from an opening by inverting the container while retaining the shape of a stored stuff. A stepped part is provided on a barrel wall part of the container over the entire circumference.
