<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a metadata station for Internet radio service. <P>SOLUTION: In this system and method, the metadata station for the Internet radio service is implemented. In an example of the method, a plurality of Internet radio stations 112 and one metadata station 114 are exhibited to client devices 104a, 104b and 104c by a server device 102 via a network 106. A request for the metadata station is received in the server device 102, and the Internet radio station having metadata information included in the metadata station is selected.
