PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp an entire moving image by simple operation. SOLUTION: The total number of frames is acquired in the moving image recorded in a recording medium (S2). A frame interval to be extracted is acquired by dividing the total number of frames by six as the number of display images (S3). A head frame is decided (S4). The head frame is made as the first extracted frame (S5). Until it reaches the number of the display images (S6), frames for index display are extracted in the order of the frame interval (S7).
