PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receptacle that can prevent connection loss due to positional deviation between the fiber stab of each optical receptacle and a plug ferrule for multiple optical connector, and that has a low price because of the reduced number of components, and to provide an optical module that uses this receptacle. SOLUTION: The optical receptacle is constituted of the fiber stab holding an optical fiber in the bore of the ferrule and a sleeve for holding the tip end of the fiber stab, and the multiple optical receptacle is structured with a plurality of optical receptacles being arranged and with a holder, having a plurality of through holes in which the fiber stab is fixed at the rear end.
