PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke pushing method and a coke pusher machine which can appropriately reduce a pushing load when a lump coke is pushed out from a carbonization chamber, to thereby reduce the damage to a coke oven wall. SOLUTION: A pushing face 22b toward a lump coke 11 of a ram head 22 is vibrated in the pushing direction by a vibrator 23, to thereby carry out pushing while imparting vibration to the lump coke 11 in the coke pushing method and the coke pusher machine.
