PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterdrop intrusion detector for eliminating a limitation of lengths of conductive patterns without always carrying a current in the conductive patterns. SOLUTION: Two opposite parallel independent conductive patterns P are provided on a circuit board 1 and constitute an open circuit with infinite resistance. When two conductive patterns P are short-circuited by intruding waterdrops, a close circuit is constituted. When the conductive patterns P are short-circuited, an output from an operational amplifier A is changed from H to L, an output from a comparator Comp is changed from H to L, and the intruding waterdrops are detected.
