<p>Disclosed is a siloxane-modified hyperbranched polyimide which has more excellent electric property (lower dielectric property), gas permeability, low elastic modulus and surface properties (adhesion property), a lower elastic modulus and the like while retaining the heat resistance, mechanical strength, chemical resistance, molding properties (processing properties) and the like that a polyimide intrinsically possesses, and which can be functionalized in various manner and therefore can be used advantageously in the industrial fields. The siloxane-modified hyperbranched polyimide can be produced by introducing a siloxane structure represented by the general formula (1) into a hyperbranched polyimide molecule having a three-dimensional structure: (1) wherein R1 represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and n is an integer of 1 to 50.</p> |
