The present invention provides a holder for storage media such as compact discs (CDs) and digital versatile discs (DVDs). The holder includes a housing part (2) including a base part from which a pair of fingers extend. Each finger has at least one slot for receiving an outer edge part of the storage media. The holder also includes a lid part (6) pivotally secured to the two fingers of the housing part (2) and a casing part (4) that slidably receives the housing part.
