FIELD: railway transport; car building. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed folding ladder has shaped posts 1, 2, steps hinge-connected with shaped posts made for getting of steps into post profiles when folding the ladder, guide hinge-connecting movable post with compartment wall to plate post in operating position, and ladder operating and idle position locks. Fixed post 1 is secured on wall of compartment and is furnished with ladder idle position lock made in form of turnable catch engaging with lower edge of slot of movable post 2. Distance between hinge joints of guide in plane of step turning is equal to distance between hinge joints of step. According to first design version, guide is installed in middle part of fixed post. According to second design version, fixed post secured on compartment wall is provided with crossmember rigidly fastened on wall to which guide is hinge-connected. According to third design version, upper guide is hinge-connected with upper support of compartment wall, and lower guide is hinge-connected with lower support. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability and convenience in use. ^ 17 cl, 18 dwg |
