<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer for exhaust gas facility of a combustion engine of an automobile having an exhaust gas flow-in port, a first flow pipe arranged in the silencer and arranging a closing means passing through the silencer completely to close and open in the inside, an exhaust pipe provided on the downstream side of the silencer and connected with the first flow pipe, a second flow pipe passing through the silencer partially, and an overflow path between the first and second flow pipes in the silencer. <P>SOLUTION: This silencer 1 optimized for, for example, exhaust gas noise is constituted by connecting the first and second flow pipes 8, 9 with the exhaust gas flow-in port 2 by a branched part 30 and arranging the closing means 13 in the first flow pipe 8 on the upstream side of the silencer 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
