<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for preventing electronic equipment or an information communication apparatus from being unrighteously accessed through a plug of a cord for transmitting and receiving data or signals which is inserted in a jack, the jack in which the plug is inserted, and the empty jack in which the plug is not inserted. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for protecting the electronic equipment or the information communication apparatus, and in this jack security device, a door 13 which can be opened and closed is provided in the jack 11, locking means 14, 15, 16 to lock the plug inserted in the jack 11 or the door 13 are provided, when the plug is not inserted in the jack 11, the door 13 is locked so that it can not be opened, and when the plug is inserted in the jack 11, the plug is locked so that it can not be pulled out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
