PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of realizing excellent steering feeling by suppressing fluctuation of steering reaction. SOLUTION: When an absolute value of estimated (detected) road surface reaction Fr exceeds a prescribed threshold value Vts, a control device controls the operation of a reaction actuator so that the steering reaction Fh imparted to steering may be held constant at a value at a point of time when the road surface reaction Fr of a value (the absolute value) exceeding the threshold value Vts is detected.
