PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a site information collection system capable of collecting more information of sites that distribute information and making a browsing person to easily determine a useful distribution site. SOLUTION: A browsing terminal 30 uses an RSS (RDF Site Summary, Rich Site Summary, Really Simple Syndication, or the like) reader from distribution sites 20 to acquire RSS files from the distribution sites 20. When a module for PING server transmission exists in the RSS file, the browsing terminal 30 transmits the URI recorded in the module for PING server transmission to a PING server 10 designated in the module for PING server transmission.
