PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll fluid machine having a rotation synchronization mechanism for efficiently performing rotation synchronization of a drive scroll and a driven scroll with simple structure, in a total system rotary type scroll fluid machine. SOLUTION: The scroll fluid machine comprises at least: a casing; a drive scroll unit; a driven scroll unit; a drive shaft; and the rotation synchronization mechanism for controlling the rotation synchronization of the driven scroll unit and the drive scroll unit. The rotation synchronization mechanism is constituted of a plurality of first pins extending from an end plate of the drive scroll unit to a driven scroll unit side; and a plurality of second pins each having a side peripheral face in contact with a side peripheral surface of the corresponding first pin, in the inside of a driven scroll outer peripheral block of the driven scroll unit.
