摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel having high grinding processing capacity, for continuously performing grinding work, without performing dressing work. SOLUTION: This grinding wheel 10a is composed of an abrasive grain and a binding material, and is rotatingly driven by a rotary shaft 12 since an outer peripheral surface becomes a processing surface 13 contacting with a workpiece W. The grinding wheel 10a is formed into a structure for laminating a plurality of disk-like grinding wheel layers 14, 15a and 15b in the direction, that is, the thickness direction along the rotary shaft 12, and grinding wheel hardness of a grinding wheel layer 14 of a central part in the thickness direction, is set higher than grinding wheel hardness of the grinding wheel layers 15a and 15b of an outside part. Thus, the grinding wheel hardness of the processing surface 13 is different in the direction for crossing the rotational direction of the processing surface 13, and is set in substantially the same in the abrasion direction.
