PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitive method for measuring uridine diphosphate (UDP)-N-acetylglucosamine. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the UDP-N-acetylglucosamine comprises (1) a step for mixing a sample with an N-acetylglucosamine transferase and a receptor substrate of the N-acetylglucosamine transferase to react them, and (2) a step for measuring the product in the reaction liquid, and determining the content of the UDP-N-acetylglucosamine of the sample from the amount of the reaction product by comparing the reaction product with the reaction product when a sample in the step (1) contains the UDP-N-acetylglucosamine of a prescribed amount.
