<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polymer-fixed transition metal catalyst by fixing a transition metal catalyst in an amphiphilic cross-linkable polymer, by which a metal can be fixed to a polymer as a minute cluster even when a raw material which can not be fixed satisfactorily by the conventional micro capsulation method-cross-linking method, is used and which can be used for various purposes. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer-fixed transition metal catalyst is obtained by dissolving or dispersing the cross-linkable polymer and a transition metal compound uniformly in a solvent containing quaternary ammonium salt to produce a precipitate being the transition metal compound-supported polymer and subjecting cross-linkable groups of the cross-linkable polymer in the precipitate to a cross-linkage reaction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
