<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find new possibility for recording a ridge pattern of a papilla of a hand allowing perfect photoelectron image recording by once disposing a recessed skin portion of a large area without using optical beam path exposed to pollutant, without necessity to permit loss of resolution. <P>SOLUTION: In this device for photoelectron recording of a fingerprint of the large area, especially in a device for acquiring a print of the whole palm, a support main body for supporting the skin portion has a basic shape of a cylinder providing a portion of an external face having a sufficient radian and radius as a support face, and end faces of the support main body each have a conical recessed part coaxially disposed with a cylinder axis as a center, and is connected to an illumination beam path and an imaging beam path through a surface line of the conical recessed part. The imaging beam path and a linearly extending image sensor can rotate synchronously with the cylinder axis as the center so as to record a continuous linear strip of attenuation total internal reflection by the skin portion supported by the illuminated external face of the support main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
