PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively perform high accuracy positioning of a fixed scroll 34 in assembling a scroll fluid machine 10. SOLUTION: A positioning device 40 presses the fixed scroll 34 engaged with a movable scroll 31, to a housing member 36, and applies impact force to the fixed scroll 34 in this state to move the fixed scroll 34 into an appropriate position.
