PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a small-sized and compact light switch of 1x4 type. SOLUTION: Two movable optical fibers 21a and 21b are fixed at their intermediate part on a substrate 9 with a fixing block 12. Two movable blocks 13 and 14 of soft magnetic material are fitted on both end parts of the movable optical fibers. A fixing block 10 of soft magnetic material which fixes an optical fiber facing to the movable block 13, and a fixing block 11 of soft magnetic material which fixes four optical fibers facing to the movable block 14 are arranged on a substrate. The two movable blocks are independently movable with respect to the fixing block with actuators 15 and 16.
