PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately associate a master unit and a slave unit of the curl-cordless telephone set with each other even if the master unit is not provided with an operation entry unit and a display section. SOLUTION: A control unit 4 informs the master unit 1 of a registration code unique to slave unit registration processing in the desired curl-cordless telephone set 3A, the slave unit 2 informs the master unit 1 of an authentication code generated on the basis of a registration code inputted to the slave unit 2 by operation, and the master unit 1 discriminates the slave unit 2 to be a legitimate slave unit in accordance with coincidence between the authentication code notified from the slave unit 2 and the authentication code generated on the basis of the registration code informed from the control unit 4.
