PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the capacity of an information storage section needed to suppress deviation of gradation display of liquid crystal is small. SOLUTION: Input gradation data are converted by an RGB->YUV conversion section 101 into luminance color difference data, which are stored in a frame memory 102. A correction arithmetic section 100 which receives input gradation data of a frame to be displayed and receives gradation data of the frame right before the frame to be displayed from a YUV->RGB conversion section 103 receiving data from the frame memory 102 corrects the input gradation data of the frame to be displayed. A liquid crystal display section 104 displays an image, based upon the corrected input gradation data from the correction arithmetic section 100. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
