PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a can of the canned motor pump due to short circuit of a stator coil and prevent leak of handling fluid in the can. SOLUTION: The can 26 storing a rotary part of a motor including a rotor 22 and sealing an inside is composed of an inner tube 44 made of steal such as stainless steel and an outer tube 46 made of heat resisting material such as ceramics. Heat resisting material is arranged on a surface on a stator 20 side of the can 26 to prevent damage due to arc produced by short circuit of the coil of the stator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
