PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilizing an aryl boron compound, making it possible that the aryl boron compound is stably stored with high purity as it is for a long period in a state of forming a substantially homogeneous system, when the compound exists in a solution, or in a state of the substantially homogeneous system on heating, when exists in slurry, and to provide a stabilized composition. SOLUTION: This method for stabilizing the aryl boron compound comprises mixing a compound having a higher affinity with the aryl boron compound than an affinity of water therewith, as a stabilizer, into the solution or the slurry containing the aryl boron compound expressed by formula (1) (Ar<SP>1</SP>, Ar<SP>2</SP>and Ar<SP>3</SP>are each an aryl) in a hydrocarbon-based solvent.
