PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorption structure for a vehicle capable of sufficiently receiving impact by collision by reducing a peak value of collision load received by a bumper reinforcement. SOLUTION: The impact absorption structure 10 for the vehicle is provided with a pair of front side members 12 extending in a longitudinal direction; and the bumper reinforcement 20 having upper and lower outer wall parts 22, 24 laterally laid in a vehicle width direction and extending in the longitudinal direction and an inner wall part 26. Further, a distance from a rear end of the inner wall part 26 to the front side member 12 is set longer than that from rear ends of the upper and lower outer wall parts 22, 24 to the front side members 12.
