PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling method for using a feed bobbin, which facilitates operation of a small amount winder when a thermal transfer sheet or an image receiving sheet with a different size (width) is wound onto the feed bobbin, enables the thermal transfer sheet or the image receiving sheet with the different size (width) to be used in a variety of thermal transfer printers, and enables the feed bobbin to be recycled without discarding the feed bobbin. SOLUTION: The feed bobbin comprises a winding shaft and flanges removably attached on both ends of the winding shaft. When the thermal transfer sheet is wound in a small amount, the sheet can be wound on the same winding shaft even if the width of the thermal transfer sheet is changed. The flanges adaptable to a variety of the printers are attached to the two ends of the shaft so that the winding shaft can be used commonly. The winding shaft is made of a metal. The surface of the winding shaft is covered with a heat shrinkable resin before winding in a small amount. Then the thermal transfer sheet is wound on the resin.
