PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of the bearing, as the strength of the rotation-supporting part is kept high in the master gear of a spinning reel. SOLUTION: The master gear 7 is equipped with the shaft part 7a to which the handle shaft part 1a is to be screwed, the gear part 7b having the teeth part that is to bite with the pinion gear 9 set on the periphery of the shaft part 7a, the first rotation support part 7f that is arranged to the outer periphery of the edge of the shaft part 7f apart from the front side of the gear part 7b, the first bearing 15a that is arranged on the outer periphery of the first rotation supporting part 7f and on the inner peripheral side of the first boss part 11a, the second rotation supporting part 7g that is arranged near the back face side of the gear part 7b that formes a larger circle than the first rotation part 7f near on the back face of the gear part 7b and the second bearing 15b arranged on outer periphery side of the second rotation supporting part 7g and the inner periphery side of the second boss part 12a.
