The air lock mechanism has grasp system (2) of the sheet delivery system which passes through the first suction duct device (3) and stands in assembled position adjacent to each grasp path area. The first suction duct device is essentially vertical to running direction of the grasp system and has a suction opening (4-9) for suction of coarse area air. The suction duct device surrounds each of the grasp system at the suction opening under displacement of the air stream out of grasp coarse area. An independent claim is also included for the method for removal of coarse area air.
